Teacher & CEO
A famed children’s book author and teacher, Mrs. Milady is an ex alumnus of PUCMM and UASD, having earned her MA in English teaching as a second language and applied linguistics to Spanish teaching. Raised in Dominican Republic, Mrs. Milady has had a life filled with hard work and many moments to exercise patience and perseverance. Her vision is focused on imparting lessons with an inclusive lens, viewing students as the integral part of the learning process and addressing any inquiry or issue, no matter how small. The spearhead of MEC, Mrs. Milady intends to guide her classes to the appropriation of the language in a steadfast and secure manner, allowing them to choose their own future in the English world.
Alain Gutiérrez
Advanced English Teacher
Trained in the English Immersion Program and having worked in ISFODOSU for two years, Mr. Alain is an experienced teacher with a C1 proficiency level in terms of the Common European Framework of Reference. Enthusiastic and straight-forward, he enjoys hard work and diversity in teaching methods, changing and adapting his explanations and pedagogical strategies to fit his students best. Mr. Alain is a proficient and well-rounded teacher that always strives to help his classes focus on a progressive growth rather than a linear one.
Steven Gutiérrez
Advanced English Teacher
A PUCMM BA´s student for Education in Math and Physics, and avid learner, Mr. Steven graduated top of his class from Jarabacoa Christian School with a native speaking level in English, and has always thrived to improve his teaching skills through any means. Cheerful and energetic, his goal is to inspire students to learn in a constructive manner at all times, building upon their successes and rising atop their mistakes with newfound knowledge. Although he is still rough around the edges, his perspective on what learning should be and his goal to achieve it is unwavering.
Pedro Gutiérrez
Chief Financial Officer
The head of our administration and financial directives, Mr. Pedro is in charge of all meetings, class schedules, payments, arrangements, and administrative decisions. He is our web master and designer, as well as our official consultant, in charge of any business or social media relations. The backbone of MEC, Mr. Pedro is a straightforward and hard working man that keeps everything running in top shape no matter the circumstances.
